Actually yes , it provides Phoenix with a cap hit to keep them at the cap floor all while the insurances (not the Coyotes) pay off Hossa's contract.

Arizona might finally be ready for that cup run Jimmy T's always talking about. Pronger, Hossa, Datsyuk. Probably will get Cary Price and Patrick Marleau sooner or later. This team has a bright, bright future

I feel as though we need to wait and see if Hossa's rash is contagious and wipes out half the team before we decide who wins this trade.

Arizona can find a cap dump anywhere. There are few if any teams willing to take on cap dumps in this manner

Not close to right. They have Hossa and Bolland for one more year according to Cap friendly. Don't get cocky now cause you have Tavares. he hasn't won poop and neither has Toronto in a long time.

Where in what I wrote did you derive that? And honestly, pens fans should love those kinds of leafs fans you're talking about. After all, they're the same ones that ran Kessel out of town so you guys could get him cheap and go on to win two cups.

during the off season it counts if I recall, it's only a certain date teams can place players on LTIR
